Bike Inn/Bike Out

Trail biking, mountain biking, road biking or back country biking - its all here in north Pocahontas Country. You'll be distracted by the incomparable beauty of Pocahontas County, with 800 miles of trails over mountain peaks, across rivers and an occasional waterfall.

Bike and stay with us - we will provide for all of your needs including a great place to sleep, an early hearty breakfast and a box lunch for two to go for a total, including tax, of $135/night, two guests. Additional person is $35. Need a place to stay the next night? Let us know how far you plan to ride and we will suggest several places to stay, close to the Trail. We can also offer shuttle service, if needed.

In the evening, gather around the campfire pit at the Inn and enjoy the cool evenings, the warm reception from your hosts Larry and Paula and the hot coals of the campfire. Double Dip Getaway

The Cass Railroad Shay steam engines will be running up the mountain; the Durbin Rocket Excursion Train is set to pull out of the station. Opening Day will be the third week of May, 2010.

Come and stay with us, we will provide tickets to ride either/or the Cass RR or the Durbin Rocket and we will provide a carry-on lunch to take with you on the train. Bring your camera for the scenic views you will encounter and a jacket for the cool temperatures (even in summer) you will experience at the top of the mountain. Use your second day here to explore the 3 state parks, hike in the National Forest, visit the NRAO where they listen to outer space or jaunt down the Greenbrier River Trail for a relaxing and quiet afternoon.

Gather around the campfire pit at the Inn and enjoy the cool evenings, the warm reception from your hosts Larry and Paula and the hot coals of the campfire.Two guests stay two nights, complete breakfast and two tickets, for two guests, to ride the train for total package price, including tax, of $265 weekdays, $285 weekends. Third person an additional $70. Two nights minimum.

Wine Country Tours

Come to Pocahontas County for a wine tour that includes stops at arts & crafts as well as antique shops on your way to the vineyard. We provide you with maps and directions for a full day of shopping and wine tasting!

Take a tour of the vineyards, the winery and then sit and enjoy a grape and cheese tray as you sample your favorite wines. Enjoy the fruit wines of apple, blackberry, peach and plum as well as your more conventional wines of chardonnays, merlots, but you have to sample the local Native Niagara, a strong but smooth white wine!

In the evening, back at the Inn, gather around the campfire pit and enjoy the cool evenings, the warm reception from your hosts Larry and Paula and the hot coals of the campfire. We provide a comfortable guestroom, full breakfast each morning, complete tour directions with a variety of stops along the way all for the price of the guestroom! Two nights minimum.

Motorcycle Touring in West Virginia

Winding roads, mountain peaks, hairpin curves make this the ultimate motorcycle riding experience. Once you've experienced the thrill of riding the roads of Pocahontas County and surrounding area, it will become your favorite destination to ride.

Tour maps have been developed to guide you around the mountain roads here, from a 119 mile ride through the valleys to a 176 mile ride through the Allegheny mountain range passing back and forth between Virginia and West Virginia. Or make up your own tour - we can help guide you to some of the most scenic areas in the USA! After dinner, gather around the campfire pit at the Inn and enjoy the cool evenings, the warm reception from your hosts Larry and Paula and the hot coals of the campfire.
